The Policy Exchange Webinar Series on Governing Health and Climate Change has been launched by The Asian Collective for Health Systems to facilitate peer learning and lessons sharing on pathways towards institutionalizing climate–health governance among countries in South and Southeast Asia.
Through this exchange, we aim to better understand the practical mechanics of governing climate and health: financing pathways, intersectoral coordination, capacity-building, and systems for monitoring and accountability. As part of our ongoing research on climate–health governance, this dialogue seeks to surface actionable lessons, implementation challenges, and replicable models through country case studies that can inform equitable and climate-resilient health systems across Asia.
Episode 1- Lessons from Nepal will take a deep dive into how Nepal is embedding climate considerations within its health system architecture. The session will unpack policy mandates, legal and institutional frameworks, and how responsibilities are structured across national and sub-national levels.
