The Policy Exchange Series: Governing Health and Climate Change is one of our ongoing research studies under The Asian Collective for Health Systems that explores how countries are institutionalizing climate–health governance.
Episode 1- Lessons from Nepal will take a deep dive into how Nepal is embedding climate considerations within its health system architecture. The session will unpack policy mandates, legal and institutional frameworks, and how responsibilities are structured across national and sub-national levels.
Through this exchange, we aim to better understand the practical mechanics of governing climate and health: financing pathways, intersectoral coordination, capacity-building, and systems for monitoring and accountability. As part of our ongoing research on climate–health governance, this dialogue seeks to surface actionable lessons, implementation challenges, and replicable models through country case studies that can inform equitable and climate-resilient health systems across Asia.
